Notes:

I intended for the famous Rogue Brewery to be my first brewery visit (but ended up being my 3rd since I chanced upon North Coast Brewing in Fort Bragg and bought a brewery map of the Northwest there). Ever since I tasted the Shakespeare Stout (my favorite of all beers) and Dead Guy Ale at a small pub called Limelite Cafe in Augusta, Georgia, I just had to visit the place where they were made. I was not disappointed.
Not only were there more selections and styles of beer there than most craft breweries, they were all good. In fact, looking back, I gave these beers much lower scores than they deserved just because I wasn't ready for onslaught of hops typical of the Pacific Northwest. And, because I was overwhelmed by the selection, I only rated the flavor instead of the beers' other aspects. Still, I enjoyed every single one of them, and Rogue remains to this day one of my favorite establishments.

UPDATE: I came back on 16 February 2001 just because I couldn't resist a return trip. Here's what I found:
American Amber: 42XX443
I2PA: 43XX4X3
Kell's Irish Lager: 32XX334
Old Crusty: 42XX4X4
Shark Tooth Ale: 31XX433
