Modeled after a German beer garden, Mt. Angel Brewing is one of the more beautiful brewpubs in the state. Too bad the beer isn't as inspired. The lineup is full of inconsistency - most of the beers had a hint of inappropriate sourness. Though, as you can see by the scores, this didn't hinder the flavor too much, except with the Breakfast Lager and Ale Mari. If you give this place a visit, do so in the summbertime when the flowers are blooming.
