Notes: | A place this great is deserving of two pictures. The first picture shows where you can taste some of the best beers in the Northwest and get some decent grub, too. The other picture is the administrative building and brewery. DON'T LET THE LOW RATINGS FOOL YOU! I hit up this place long before I could appreciate the sophistication of Pacific Northwest beers. All of Fish's beers deserve at least a 3 for flavor, and most deserve a 4 (fifth digit in the seven digit rating). Fish is better known for making organic beers and donating a portion of its profits to help out fish wildlife. Though their regular selections are solid, I don't find any that are outstanding. However, it's their seasonals and specials that are the envy of all the breweries in the Pacific Northwest. Try finding an imperial stout better than Poseidon! Not too long ago, Fish added the mouthwatering, awe-inspring, non-filtered Leavenworth beers to its lineup (having bought the brewery), cementing Fish's position as the best all around brewery in Washington. |
