| Notes: | I normally don't come down harshly on a place, but I'd definitely recommend avoiding Crab Creek Brewing. First of all, the beer is mediocre. Second of all, tasters are served in 1 ounce, colored plastic shot glasses. This is a big NO for three reasons: tasters should never be in plastic because plastic is more liable to be contaminated than glass; colored plastic is just plain wrong because you can't get a good look at the beer; and 1 ounce is hardly an adequate serving to get a real feel for the beer. Finally, this place is more like a dive bar for the Budweiser crowd than a brewpub. Just look at the entrance to the building in the picture! That should give you a good indication of what kind of place this is. |
